Polymer clay is a type of modeling clay that hardens when baked in an oven. it is based on the polymer polyvinyl chloride and contains no clay minerals. Polymer clay products are NOT food safe and none of the items on this site should be used to store or consume food or beverages.
All jewellery findings are made from surgical stainless steel unless otherwise stated in individual listings. Please don't hesitate to contact me if you should require alternative metal findings due to allergies. Where possible, other options can be made available to you.
All pieces are handmade and therefore some pieces may have slight imperfections bbthat in no way alter the function of the piece. All items are priced individually and any imperfections are taken into account at this stage and reflected in the price.
All clay stud tops are embedded using polymer clay and a stainless steel stud post. Please contact me for alternatives.
SAFETY WARNING PLEASE NOTE:
Many of the items available contain small parts and should never be given to young children due to being a potential chocking hazard. This is incredibly important with the needle minders! My needle minders contain two battery sized magnets, one secured to the piece and one loose to attach the minder to your fabric. These magnets present a serious risk if ingested and should be stored well out of reach.
Polymer clay is a very versatile material and if stored correctly, can last a very long time. To avoid damage, always store carefully and avoid contact with chemicals, lotions, perfumes and away from direct sunlight. Do not wear your pieces in water (showers/swimming pools etc) and in the event that a piece becomes marked, wipe with a damp cloth.
Despite its strong nature, pieces can be easily broken if not handled correctly, particularly my delicate designs. Under no circumstances should you attempt to bend your pieces. I carry out strength tests on all my components to ensure they have been cured correctly. Polymer clay pieces can be scuffed and scratched if thrown in a drawer or bag and I therefore recommend that pieces such as earrings be stored in a jewellery box or on a jewellery stand when not in use.
Breakage: In the rare event that an item breaks or becomes damaged please contact me immediately via email with a photo of the item and we can discuss a solution. I will not replace or refund items that have not been cared for or stored properly and will not replace or refund items more than 6 months old. Proof of purchase will be required.
All ready made items will take up to 7 working days to be processed ready for shipping unless otherwise stated in the listing.
All pre order items are made to order and will take up to 6 weeks processing time in which they will be made. On the rare occasion that the processing time will be longer (due to high demand and increased listings) you will be notified upon purchasing and given the opportunity to cancel should you wish to.
Custom orders are dealt with on an individual basis and a processing time agreed prior to purchase.
Should there be delays, due to unforeseen circumstances for the processing of ANY orders, you will be notified asap.
Please note that these are my processing times only. Once shipped, I have no control over how long items will take to get to you. Particularly at busy times of the year.
Once the 48 hour cancellation time has lapsed, your item will enter a queuing system to be shipped out to you. Items shipped within the UK will be sent 2nd Class standard with Royal Mail.
International orders can be sent Tracked and signed through Royal Mail or as Standard. Please note that if you choose standard shipping, no tracking numbers will be provided and therefore any issues with delivery fall on the responsibility of the buyer.
Please bear in mind that postal services all over the world are dealing with a lot of items in what is and has been a very difficult time for us all. You may experience a delay for this reason that is completely out of my control. Due to ever changing restrictions being in place, should I experience any issues in getting your items to you in the above timescale you will be notified straight away.
Please note that it is the responsibility of the buyer to pay any additional customs or import charges that may occur. Please ensure that all contact information is correct as I cannot be responsible for any errors that may be made once items have been shipped.
If you wish to cancel your order, you have 48 hours to do so. Please contact me straight away if this is the case. Providing your order has not been posted, I will happily refund you in full, however after this time, any items that have already been shipped will not be refunded.
Returns: Should you wish to return a non- jewellery item, you may do so within 14 days of recieving your order, providing all items are returned, including all packaging. Once received and deemed to be in perfect condition, I will process a refund for you excluding shipping costs. The original shipping cost and the cost of shipping to return the item to me are at the customer expense.
Due to health and safety reasons, I am unable to accept returns on jewellery.
Returns cannot be given on made to order items, if the order has been started after the 48 hour cancellation window, no changes can be made.
In all circumstances, please contact me first by email so that we can come to a solution if possible.
Oversells: In rare circumstances an oversell can occur when two people purchase an item at exactly the same time. Due to all my pieces being one off, the person who's order comes through first will be given priority and the other offered an alternative or a refund in full. You will receive an email as soon as I am made aware of this to find the best solution, unfortunately once items are sold they will not be replicated so a similar item or full refund will be the only options available.
Delayed items: A refund will not be offered if there is a delay in you receiving your item. I aim to ship all orders within 7 working days and any delays once in the postal system are out of my control.
Lost items: It is incredibly important that you check all postage information is correct and that all address information on platforms such as PayPal are up to date. If your tracking information says your item has been delivered and you have not received it, please check with your local post office. If you have tried this with no success, I will try to contact royal mail myself with an enquiry but I am not responsible for items lost in the post. I will do my best to offer you a solution but will not always offer refunds for these situations.
Missing, incorrect or damaged items: I ask that you check your order as soon as you receive it and be sure to advise me within 48 hours if any items are incorrect, or missing. Please be very careful if adding personalisation to an item that all spelling is correct. An exchange will not be provided for an error that does not occur on my behalf. All refunds or replacements will be provided on a case by case basis.
Faulty or broken items require photographic evidence of the packaging and the item, within 48 hours. Further information may be requested to determine whether the damage was a fault of mine or caused in transit. Each order is carefully packed to ensure the safe delivery of your items and should get to you in perfect condition. Please do not contact me 2 weeks after receiving your order and expect a refund.
